Congratulations to the Preston MS Orchestra students who auditioned and were chosen to be a part of the PSD Honor Orchestra in May 2020! These students are: Audrey Carter, Andrew Lafferty, Isaiah Martine, Travis Robinson, Harrison Sandstedt, Lily Siple, Lexie Smith, Kaylee Weickert, and Julia Zheng. If you have ever auditioned for something before, you know how difficult it can be. These students practiced very hard for their audition and were chosen by our Honor Orchestra judges to become a part of the 2020 Honor Orchestra. Students - we will keep you updated about the status of Honor Orchestra 2020 due to our remote learning status at this time.
The Preston Symphonic Orchestra was chosen in the Fall of 2018 to perform at the CASB Conference at the Broadmoor Hotel on December 7th. This picture shows the group performing at the conference. The students woke up very early on this day to go down to Colorado Springs, perform, eat lunch, and drive all of the way back to Fort Collins. Preston is proud to have such a dedicated group of musicians and students!! Way to go!!
